The card appears to be running biosР’В TV303MH.103. I also tried the toggle switch on the card, but no joy with this either. I'm now stuck as to what to do? I tried using Device Manager to search for updated drivers, and then pointed the wizard at the extracted Crimson drivers, but this blue-screened too.

At some point the Crimson 17.4.4 drivers came out which I tried installing, but again a blue-screen. Exactly the same thing happened with another blue-screen. Right-click on the graphics device in the list and click Properties. In the Device Manager window, go to the Display adapter category and expand it. In the Run dialog box, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. I restored the system again, and tried with some older drivers (15.6.1 I think, whatever is on the MSI site for that card). Press Windows logo key and R simultaneously to invoke the Run dialog box.

I've definitely been able to apply custom settings before with this hardware, albeit this was around when Vega was first released and didn't really mess with it since. I can change to the other pre-configured profiles, but can't use a custom profile at all. I've tried this with both Wattman and OverdriveNTool with the same result. I just updated to the latest AMD Display Drivers (18.11.2 from 18.6) and I'm running into an issue where I can't even apply an unchanged custom setting without my computer immediately BSOD'ing to a 'Thread stuck in device driver' error as soon as it hit the apply button.
